Webinar to highlight how to address risks and take advantage of biomass CHP opportunities

A free webinar will be hosted 14:30-15:30 BST [15.30-16.30 CET / 09.30-10.30 EST] on Thursday 11 September by environmental consultancy Ricardo-AEA and law firm Bird & Bird for developers, advisors and material suppliers within the biomass sector.

The webinar will explore biomass combined heat and power (CHP) opportunities, including mitigation of risks within the biomass sector and funding options. In doing so it will help businesses learn about the current and likely future regulations for the biomass sector, examining topics such as support for renewable CHP under the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI). Attendees will also learn about risk mitigation strategies associated with fuel supply for biomass installations.

Presentations will be given by Ricardo-AEA’s renewable energy knowledge leader, Colin McNaught, and bioenergy knowledge leader, Pat Howes, as well as Bird & Bird Partner, Michael Rudd, and Associate, Levent Gurdenli. The talks will be followed by a question and answer session and a recording will be made available to delegates after the event.
